Read Acts 2:22-36.

Think back to your definition of Miracles. The Apostle Peter, in Acts 2:22, referenced miracles in communicating Jesus as messiah.

Why is that important?

Do you believe that God does or does not still work miracles today? Why or Why Not?

Do you believe Salvation is a miracle? Why or why not?

Power over Spiritual and physical realm

Digging Deeper (20-25 minutes)

Read Ephesians 1:3-6    What do these verses tell us about God’s intentionality in forgiveness and His unstoppable efforts towards salvation?

Optional Podcast Question:  Early in the Podcast, pastor Thad and Tami were talking about Thad’s daughter Karter and how she reacted to discovering she had a family member not saved and why she reacted that way. What can we learn from Karter’s reaction to inform our understanding of the state of our heart?

Challenge and Prayer (10-15 minutes)

  1. Are you willing to share with the group your struggle to ACCEPT THAT YOU ARE FORGIVEN and that God can use you. Pray together asking God for forgiveness regarding that one area you secretly don’t believe He can fix or situation He can’t bring you through.
  2. PRAY FOR the E1R1-21 initiative and spiritual fruit and growth from Easter. Pray that people believe that God can and has forgiven them and that no problem is too great for God.
